Hanna Mosser, Minot, given deferred imposition of sentence for intent to deal marijuana
Hanna Rose Mosser, 21, Minot, was granted a deferred imposition of sentence for two years on a Class B felony charge of possession with intent to deliver marijuana.
Judge Gary Lee also ordered her to pay $775 in court costs and to obtain a chemical dependency evaluation.
If she successfully completes probation, the charge will be dismissed.
Mosser was arrested on Aug. 20 after authorities received a report of marijuana in a trailer in Parkview Trailer Court. A search of the trailer turned up more than two pounds of marijuana and various drug paraphernalia.
Under the terms of a plea deal, the state dismissed a Class A misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.
Local judges have been giving deferred sentences or sentences with minimal prison time of late in cases involving dealing marijuana.
