Matraca Danielson, Minot, charged with possession with intent to deliver meth

Matraca Rae Danielson, 27, Minot, is charged with Class B felony possession of intent to deliver methamphetamine in district court in Minot and other drug charges.

According to a probable cause affidavit filed with the court, Danielson and Erica Monique Requejo, 39, Minot, were passengers in a vehicle driven by Eric Jason Faul, 42, that pulled into the Fairview Lodge parking lot on Monday afternoon. The Ward County Narcotics Task Force had Faul under surveillance. A woman came out of the Fairview Lodge, walked up to the suspect vehicle, and officers saw a potential drug deal.

Officers stopped the vehicle and spoke with Faul, Danielson, and Requejo.

A search of the vehicle turned up Danielson’s purse, which contained two small plastic bags with meth residue, four syringes with one syringe containing a crystallized substance, and a dugout with marijuana residue. A black pocket container under the driver’s seat contained more than 3 grams of meth in plastic bags and a digital scale. When Danielson was searched, they found another small plastic baggie in her jacket pocket containing 1 gram of meth. Danielson said all of the drugs and paraphernalia were hers.

Faul is her boyfriend and said none of the items were his.

Faul said they had gone to the Fairview Lodge to collect $100 from a person there. Faul denied that any drugs were exchanged with the woman, who has also been convicted of drug related charges in the past.

Danielson is charged in district court in Minot with Class B felony possession of meth with intent to deliver, Class B felony possession of drugs by an inmate, Class A misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, and Class B misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

Requejo was arrested on outstanding warrants. She was scheduled to make an initial appearance in district court in Minot on Wednesday on a charge of Class C felony possession of a controlled substance, dating back to Jan. 17, and Class B misdemeanor driving with a suspended driver’s license.
