William Kaseman, Jeanette Kaseman of Minot charged with conspiracy to deliver meth

William James Kaseman, 36, and his wife, Jeanette Pauline Kaseman, 36, both Minot, are charged with Class B felony conspiracy to deliver methamphetamine in Minot in May. Jeanette Kaseman is charged with Class A felony delivery of more than 50 grams of methamphetamine.

According to the probable cause affidavit filed with the court, Jeanette Kaseman sold 61.48 grams of meth to a confidential informant working with the Ward County Narcotics Task Force. The deal took place in the parking lot at the Minot Kmart. William Kaseman drove Jeanette Kaseman to the scene of the drug deal. Jeanette Kaseman is reportedly known to her clients as “J Rock.”

Jeanette Kaseman is also facing theft and forgery-related charges in district court in Minot.

In court on Wednesday, the state asked for a $25,000 cash or corporate surety bond for Jeanette Kaseman, who told North Central District Court Judge Stacy Louser that is too high and she and her husband can’t afford it. Jeanette Kaseman said she has children at home and she had job interviews on the day she was arrested. Louser said she is disturbed by the charges against Jeanette Kaseman and set bond at $15,000 cash or corporate surety.

A preliminary hearing for Jeanette Kaseman is scheduled for Oct. 11 before Louser.

An initial appearance for William Kaseman is scheduled for Oct. 9 before Louser.
