Construction will begin Monday, April 30, at the intersection of U.S. Highway 2 and 42nd Street SE/14th Avenue SE in Minot.

The construction consists of addition of turn lanes and traffic signal system.

During construction:

— Access to 42nd and 14th to and from U.S. 2 will be temporarily closed. Access to Gooseneck Implement, Butler Machinery\ and Pure Honda/Pure Storage will be accessible via a temporary access at 16th Avenue SE. All other access will be required to use the detours to Burdick Expressway and 55th Street SE.

— Speeds will be reduced.

— A width restriction of 16 feet will be in place.

— Gravel will be present on the road.

The project is expected to be completed this fall.
