Two drivers were treated for minor injuries, with one transported to Trinity Hospital, following a two-car accident in Minot Monday morning. The vehicle driven by 60-year-old Joann Thull was traveling northbound on Sixth Street SW and entered the intersection at West Burdick Expressway while the traffic control signal displayed red. Thull’s vehicle was struck by a vehicle traveling west on Burdick Expressway, which was driven by 25-year-old Emily Whitfield. The collision caused Thull’s vehicle to roll onto its top. Thull was treated on scene for nonlife-threatening injuries and transported to Trinity Hospital for further treatment. Whitfield was treated for minor injuries on scene and refused medical transport. Thull was cited for disregarding a traffic control signal.
