Weather postpones multiple athletic events

Weather continues to affect the landscape of North Dakota athletics. Multiple athletic events in the region were postponed on Thursday.

The Minot State women’s soccer team will play Bemidji State University at 3 p.m. this afternoon. The Beavers will then play the University of Minnesota Crookston at 1 p.m. on Oct. 13 at East Grand Forks High School.

The Minot High vs. Bismarck High football game, originally scheduled for Oct. 10, was postponed until Monday, Oct. 14. It will be played at the Bismarck Community Bowl.

The Minot High vs. Jamestown volleyball game, originally scheduled for Oct. 10, will now be played on Friday, Nov. 1, in Jamestown.

The WDA cross country meet, which was originally set for Saturday in Jamestown, was postponed until Tuesday, Oct. 15. The event will be held at the Parkhurst Recreation Area in Jamestown, but could be moved to Dickinson if the course is not ready.

The Minot High volleyball team will not attend the Scheel’s Invite in Fargo.

The Velva vs. Nedrose football game at Nedrose was moved up to 5 p.m. this evening. It was originally scheduled for 7 p.m.

The Garrison/Max vs. South Prairie football game at South Prairie was moved to 4 p.m. this evening.

The Velva vs. Newburg/Westhope volleyball game is postponed until Oct. 14.

The Drake/Anamoose vs. Washburn volleyball game was canceled.

The Rugby vs. Bottineau volleyball game was rescheduled to Oct. 21.

The Carrington volleyball tournament, originally scheduled for this Saturday, was postponed until next weekend.

The Bottineau vs. Harvey/Wells County football game, originally scheduled for this afternoon, was moved to 4 p.m. on Saturday at Duane Carlson Stadium in Minot.

The Surrey vs. Mohall-Lansford-Sherwood football game this evening was moved up to 5 p.m.
