Why not celebrate diverse music festival

The all-ages music festival, WhyNot Fest 8 is scheduled for this coming weekend, August 10-13. Hosted by Pangea House (a local arts collective), the eighth annual WhyNot Fest will feature a wide range of bands and performers throughout the weekend. The 65+ acts will include electronic, punk, metal, folk, acoustic, spoken word and book readings from artists both local and from around the country.

The 3-day festival will be held at venues in the heart of downtown Minot (62 Doors, the old Chicago Club & Pursuit Space, and Main Street Books). The cost for attending WhyNot Fest 8 is $10 for a day pass; $25 for a full weekend pass. Passes can be purchased at all venues.

Pangea House is a collective of like-minded individuals working together to provide safe, affordable, all-ages community events for the Minot Area. For more information about “WhyNot Fest 8,” and a complete schedule please visit the Pangea House Facebook
