Downtown is anticipating another strong showing for the Downtown Festival on Main, Saturday, Aug. 5 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The festival will feature timed activities in the performance area featuring performers such as Jerry Lund, Ara Bruce, Karen Martin, Guy and a Gal, and Jerry Schlag, as well as karaoke, feather dancers and a fire show by SayRah (Sarah Bolton).

Other activities include face painting, Yoga with Amber Senn, bounce houses and celebrity bingo featuring local luminaries such as Minot Daily News Publisher Dan McDonald, KX’s Amber Wheeler, John McMartin from the Chamber of Commerce, and Rich Berg, director of the United Way.

Plenty of food and beverage options will be available as well as appearanced from Northern Plains Corvette Club, the Dakota Cruisers Car Club, police cruisers.

Festival on Main will also feature special sidewalk sales, from vendors Fiancee, Margie’s Studio, Main Street Books, Artmain, Budget Music, Oliver’s Attic, Artspace Suite 1 Gallery, Interiors Plus, Season’s Floral, Grow with Me and more. Local food purveyors will have plenty to offer and Gourmet Chef will offer product demos samples and sidewalk sales.

With so many participants working together to make the occasion special, guests are certain to have a memorable Festival on Main.
