Summer of rock n’ roll: MSU Summer Theatre performs ‘Rock of Ages’

Classic rock, riveting romance and show-stopping comedy will be featured during the Broadway smash hit “Rock of Ages,” performed by the Minot State University Summer Theatre, tonight-Sunday at the MSU Amphitheater.

Throughout the rock n’ roll showcase, theatergoers can anticipate the timeless music of Pat Benatar, Twisted Sister, Def Leppard, Bon Jovi and REO Speedwagon along with dynamic renditions of “I Want To Know What Love Is” by Foreigner and “Don’t Stop Believing” by Journey.

Shelby Bauer, a theatergoer, expressed great excitement about the latest performance by MSU Summer Theatre.

“Rock of Ages is by far one of my favorite musicals,” Bauer said. “This cast did an amazing job bringing the characters to life. I hardly had time to breathe from laughing so hard.”

Box office opens at 7:30 p.m. and showtime is 8:30 p.m.

Tickets costs $15 for adults, $10 for seniors and $5 for youths 18 and under.

MSU faculty, staff and summer students with a current MSU ID can attend for $10.
