Kim Fundingsland/MDN No bird brain here. This Great White heron was peering through the deck window early in the morning, waiting for someone inside to toss him some fish. The photograph was taken in Key Largo, Fla. The Great White heron is the Florida version of the Great Blue herons found in North Dakota throughout the summer months.
