Ladies Day planned at The Sibyl Center
STANLEY – The Sibyl Center in Stanley will present “Ladies Day” on Saturday, Aug. 26.
Doors will open at 1:15 p.m. for viewing the private collections on display. A fashion show of vintage wedding dresses will be presented at 2 p.m. by Wanda Rodin and Gail Huff.
Musical selections will be presented by Gina Footh, vocalist, and Linda Lumley, pianist. Door prizes include a handmade quilt designed and donated by Vickie Evans. “Tea at Three” will feature teas from England and will be paired with a tea plate.
On display in The Sibyl Center will be “Land in Her Own Name,” an exhibit from the State Historidcal Society of North Dakota in Bismarck. The exhibit is a tribute to the women who homesteaded in northwest North Dakota and includes pictures and stories.
