Physicians join Trinity Health

Trinity Health has added two physicians in the areas of vascular surgery and pediatrics, according to a press release from Trinity.

Dr. Michael Gooden is a board-certified vascular and endovascular surgeon with more than 20 years of experience. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Arizona. Following general surgery residency at the University of New Mexico, he completed a two-year vascular surgery fellowship at Cleveland Clinic in 2004. He has worked in a variety of settings over the years, including private practice, academic surgery, and with the V.A. health care system.

Dr. Ndu David Ugobi is a board-certified pediatrician and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He earned his medical doctorate from the American University of Integrative Sciences, St. Maarten, and completed his pediatric residency at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker School of Medicine in Kalamazoo. Following residency, he spent nine months as a post-graduate fellow in pediatric neurology at McMaster University in Ontario. He remained in Ontario to carry on a wide ranging pediatric practice in Port Dover.

Gooden is located in the Surgical Associates suite at Health Center – West. Ugobi is based in the Pediatric Department at Health Center – Medical Arts.
