Cerkowniak named supervisor of AASK staff

Dianne Nechiporenko, executive director of Catholic Charities North Dakota, announced the promotion of Doreen Cerkowniak as an Adults Adopting Special Kids supervisor. In 2014 Cerkowniak began working as an AASK adoption specialist with PATH ND INC. in Belcourt. She will supervise the AASK workers in the western part of North Dakota and will work out of the Minot area.

She received her bachelor of social work degree from Minnesota State University – Moorhead. She lives with her family in Bottineau.

Adults Adopting Special Kids is a collaborative public/private special needs adoption program of Catholic Charities North Dakota, PATH ND, Inc. and the North Dakota Department of Human Services. The program provides adoption services to children in the public foster care system and the families who adopt these children.
