cumbrance upon, the real estate

described in the complaint; any per-

son in possession,

Judgment in the amount of

$266,718.38, having been entered in

favor of Plaintiff and against Defen-

dants, which Judgment was filed

with the Clerk of Courts of Ward

County, North Dakota, on May 19,

2021, for the foreclosure of a real

estate mortgage. Notice is hereby

given pursuant to said Judgment

that the real property described as:

Lot 2, Block 4, Valli Hai Addition

to the City of Minot, Ward County,

North Dakota

Real Property address: 1304 13th

Avenue NW, Minot, ND 58701

The above real property is the sub-

ject of the Mortgage dated June 7,

2017, which Mortgagors, Andrea L.

Golden and Kevin M. Golden, exe-

cuted and delivered to Mortgage

Electronic Registration Systems,

Inc., as Mortgagee, as nominee for

Premier Mortgage Corp, its succes-

sors and assigns, and recorded in

the office of the Clerk and Recorder

of Ward County, North Dakota, on

June 8, 2017, Instrument Number

3009204, which is subject to the en-

tered Judgment. Said Mortgage

was assigned to Plaintiff, its succes-

sors or assigns, by Assignment of

Mortgage recorded May 29, 2019,

Instrument Number 3028226. In ord-

er to realize the amount of

$266,718.38, as of May 19, 2021,

plus interest accruing thereafter on

said amount at the rate of 3.875%

per year together with the costs and

expenses of sale, the property will

be sold subject to redemption as

provided by law as one parcel of

land at public auction, subject to any

lien for unpaid real estate taxes and

assessments of Ward County, North

Dakota, and easements and res-

trictions of record, to the highest

bidder for cash under the direction of

the Sheriff of Ward County, North

Dakota, at the main entrance of the

Ward County Courthouse located at

315 SE 3rd Street, Minot, North

Dakota 58701, on October 20, 2021

(“Sale Date”), at 10:00 AM. If the

sale is set aside for reason, the Pur-

chaser at the sale shall be entitled

only to a return of the deposit paid.

The purchaser shall have no further

recourse against the Mortgagor, the

Mortgagee or the Mortgagee’s attor-

NOTICE TO CUT TALL WEEDS

OR GRASS

ATTENTION ALL PROPERTY

OWNERS

CITY OF MINOT

Property owners in the City of Minot

are required to mow weeds or grass,

before they exceed 8 inches tall,

under Chapter 22 (Nuisances) of the

City of Minot Code of Ordinances.

If the tall weeds or grass on a pro-

perty is determined to be in excess

of 8 inches tall, such weeds or grass

must be cut within 48 hours. Other-

wise, the City of Minot will arrange

for cutting; and the cost of such work

will be assessed against the proper-

ty. No further notice to individual

property owners is required under

Chapter 22.

Any questions regarding tall weeds

or grass cutting procedures should

be directed to the Public Works

Department at 857-4140.

NOTICE TO PREPARE A

PROGRAMMATIC

ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT

FOR THE NOXIOUS WEED PLAN

ON THE FORT BERTHOLD

INDIAN RESERVATION

The United States Bureau of Indian

Affairs (BIA) Great Plains Regional

Office (GPRO) is preparing a pro-

grammatic environmental assess-

ment (PEA) in accordance with the

National Environmental Policy Act of

1969 (NEPA) and the Council on

Environmental Quality regulations

(40 Code of Federal Regulations

[CFR]1500-1508), for continued nox-

ious weed management on trust

lands located within the exterior

boundaries of the Fort Berthold Indi-

an Reservation (hereafter Reserva-

tion) in North Dakota. The PEA will

analyze the potential impacts asso-

ciated with the BIA’s

development/implementation of the

Fort Berthold Indian Reservation

Noxious Weed Plan for continued

prevention, early detection, and

control/containment of noxious

weeds within the exterior boundaries

of the Reservation. The BIA is seek-

ing your input as part of the NEPA

scoping process. Comments might

include reasonable alternatives, miti-

gation measures, probable or possi-

ble adverse impacts, and other con-

siderations. The public comment

period will begin on August 30,

2021. The BIA will accept written

comments until close of business

September 29, 2021. Please include

the “Fort Berthold Indian Reserva-

tion Noxious Weed Plan PEA” in the

subject line of any correspondence.

BIA with the development of the

PEA:
