The general work covered by the
Specifications for the Souris River
Joint Water Resources District –
StARR Demolition and Site Restora-
tion, is the labor, tools, materials and
equipment required for the demoli-
tion of 3 structure foundations and
restoration of the one property as
well as debris removal from the
group of properties. All Bids are to
be submitted on the basis of cash
payment for the Work and Materials,
and are to be enclosed in a sealed
envelope addressed to the under-
signed Chairman, accompanied by a
separate envelope containing a
Bidder’s Bond in the sum equal to
5% of the full amount of the Bid, ex-
ecuted by the Bidder as Principal,
and by a Surety, conditioned that if
the Principal’s Bid is accepted and
the contract awarded to the Princi-
pal, the Principal, within ten days
after notice of award, shall execute a
Contract in accordance with the
terms of the Bid and Performance
and Payment Bonds as required by
the law and the regulation and deter-
minations of the Souris River Joint
Board. Countersignature of a Bid
Bond is not required. If a successful
bidder does not execute a contract
within the ten days allowed, the
bidder’s bond must be forfeited to
the Souris River Joint Board and the
project will be awarded to the next
lowest responsible bidder. Bidders
shall be licensed for the full amount
of the Bid, as required by Sections
43-07-05 and 43-07-12 of the North
Dakota Century Code. Also, a copy
of the Bidder’s Contractor’s License
or License Renewal must be includ-
ed in the Bid Bond envelope. No Bid
may be read or considered if it does
not fully comply with the require-
ments of Section 48-01.2-06 of the
North Dakota Century Code. Any
deficient Bid received will be
resealed and returned to the Bidder
immediately. The Owner reserves
the right to hold all Bids for 15 days,
to reject any or all Bids and to waive
any informality or irregularity in any
Bid and to accept the BID deemed in
the best interest of the Souris River
Joint Board. There shall be en-
dorsed upon the outside of the en-
velope containing the Bid, the follow-
ing:

2.The name of the person, firm, cor-

The Work shall be substantially

SOURIS RIVER JOINT BOARD
REQUEST FOR SEALED BIDS
The Souris River Joint Board is re-
questing sealed bids for structures
for resale which were purchased by
the Souris River Joint Board. The
structures will be sold as is with no
guarantee or warranty to the condi-
tion or soundness of the structure.
No minimum bid required. Each bid
must include a five percent bidders
bond in a separate envelope at-
tached to the bid envelope. Accept-
able will be cashier checks, bidder
bond, or cash. All structures moved
will require a five-thousand-dollar re-
fundable security deposit posted
with the Souris River Joint Board
within ten days of award of being the
highest bidder. In addition, all the
structures moved must follow all jur-
isdictional ordinances and zoning
codes in place at the permanent lo-
cation of the structure. Structures
must be moved from the site by De-
cember 7th, 2021. Failure to comply
will result in the Buyer’s forfeiture of
any and all rights to the structure(s)
purchased, the purchase price paid
to the Seller, any monies invested in
the structure(s), and performance
bond. The Seller shall then take
ownership of the structure and may
resell or demolish the structure at its
discretion. A certificate of occupancy
