Business Manager’s Report – Mrs.
Magnuson
Received our tax valuation and it is
unchanged from the valuation we re-
ceived last June reflecting 144.48
Mills. We continue to find ways to
utilize the grant dollars to be used by
December 30th. The 2019 bus was
paid off December 1st.
Principal’s Report
Mr. Groninger: Looking at new read-
ing curriculum. On December 15th
at the Ward County Commissioner
meeting, we will be presenting a
check to the Ward County Sheriff’s
Department for funds raised to help
care for the new drug dog Baxy. Re-
port cards will go out 1/6/21.
Mr. Routledge: Finals are scheduled
for December 17th and 18th. Block
schedule will be revised for second
semester. A high percentage of our
Distance Learning students are
struggling. We are working with the
parents and students.
Superintendent’s Report – Mr. Stan-
ley: We had spikes in November,
over 80 students and elementary
staff were out. Right now, we have
zero positives in the school. The
building has been turned over to us
with minimal items left on the punch
list. Lockers for the new addition ar-
rive tomorrow and will be installed in
the next few days. All teachers have
moved to their new rooms. Rolac
Construction has done a great job.
In lieu of a Christmas party we had a
staff breakfast last Wednesday and
will do lunch for the staff the next
two Wednesdays, thanks to the
board. We put in a request to the
NDHSAA to increase the fan max-
imum from 50 to 150 per game.
Finance Committee: Discussion was
had regarding grant money spent.
Food Service program needs addi-
tional freezer space. We will get
some bids on the best options to ac-
commodate the storage needs.
Building Committee: Did the new
construction final walk through on
December 1st.
