to appear and defend the Complaint

in this action, a copy of which is

herewith served upon you, by serv-

ing upon the undersigned an Answer

or other proper response within

twenty-one (21) days after the ser-

vice of this Summons upon you, ex-

clusive of the day of service. If you

fail to do so, Judgment by Default

will be taken against you for the re-

lief demanded in the Complaint. The

Complaint in this action has been

filed in the office of the Clerk of

Court of Ward County, North Dako-

ta.

The object of the action is to quiet ti-

tle to Plaintiff, and to exclude the

Defendants from any estate or in-

terest in or lien or encumbrance

upon the land involved in this action.
