Nedrose School Board Minutes
April 15, 2020
5:30 P.M.
The Nedrose School Board Meeting
was called to order by President Jim
Vannett. Members present; Jim
Vannett, Holly Brekhus, Robert
Kraus, Todd Awalt, and Chris Sut-
ton. Also present was Matt Norby,
Administrator, Chelsey Raymond,
High School Principal, Alex
Schmaltz, Elementary Principal and
Connie Marcellais, Business
Manager. Motion made by Holly
Brekhus and seconded by Chris Sut-
ton to approve the agenda. Motion
carried unanimously. Cardinal Ku-
dos acknowledged today: Lisa Ol-
son and her Cheer Team. Lisa went
above and beyond in organizing and
directing the mini cheer camp which
was a huge success. The School
Board would also like to congratu-
late Jethro Lauron for being selected
to the all district Boys Basketball
team, District 11. Thank you for your
hard work and dedication to the
Nedrose boys’ basketball team! New
nominations for Cardinal Kudos: Re-
becca Welsh, who will be retiring
this year, for all her years of dedica-
tion to Nedrose School District.
Nedrose Principals Chelsey Ray-
mond and Alex Schmaltz for their
hard work in setting up the online
distance learning, and all they con-
tinue to do for the Nedrose School.
Motion made by Jim Vannett and
seconded by Bob Kraus to approve
the minutes of the March 11, 2020
meeting. Motion carried unanimous-
ly. Bob Kraus moved and seconded
by Chris Sutton to approve the
Financial balances as of March 31,
2020 as presented; checkbook,
$3,430,874.31; MM Savings,
1,224,952.65. Motion carried unani-
mously. Motion made Holly Brekhus
and seconded by Jim Vannett to ap-
prove the bills in the amount of
$255,808.74 using check numbers
55677, 55827 – 55831, 55903 –
55928 and 55866 – 55867. Motion
carried unanimously. Elementary
and High School Principals reports
were reviewed. Mr. Norby gave an
update on tuition waivers, tree pro-
ject and summer projects. Motion
made by Jim Vannett and seconded
by Holly Brekhus to move forward
with the June 9, 2020 election as an
absentee ballot only election. Mo-
tion carried unanimously. Next
scheduled board meeting will be
Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at 5:30
P.M. Meeting adjourned.

THIRD PARTY DEVELOPMENT
OF AN AERONAUTICAL FACILI-
TY MINOT INTERNATIONAL
AIRPORT
The City of Minot (herein after re-
ferred to as “City”) is issuing this Re-
quest for Proposals (“RFP”) for qual-
ified third parties interested in
developing facilities that would serve
as or support aeronautical facilities
on the designated site at the Minot
International Airport (“MOT”).
Desired aeronautical facilities in-
clude, but are not limited to, aircraft
storage hangars, aircraft mainte-
nance facilities, aeronautical
manufacturing facilities, or other re-
lated facilities that are compliant with
all Federal Aviation Administration
(FAA) and Minot International Airport
policies, and support the aviation in-
dustry. Proposers must be capable
of funding, designing, and construct-
ing the proposed facility within the
timeframe identified in the RFP.
Sealed qualification statements shall
be submitted to the following:

Qualification statements must be re-
ceived on or before June 23, 2020at
4:00PM CST. There will be no public
opening of the statements received.

recommendation for award will be
