CALL FOR BIDS
The School Board of the Maddock
School District #9 of Maddock, North
Dakota, will accept sealed bids for
OTS coal and hauling, preferably
Wyoming coal; for the 2020-2021
school term. Tonnage per trip is ap-
proximately 32-34 tons, with aver-
age of 8 trips per year. Questions
may be directed to Jack Lang at
701-438-2531. Sealed bids are to be
mailed to Shannon Louder, Busi-
ness Manager, Maddock School
District #9, PO Box 398, Maddock,
ND 58348, on or before noon on
Friday, July 3rd, 2020. All properly
received bids will be forwarded to
the School Board for consideration
at its next regular meeting, July 9th,
2020. The School Board reserves
the right to reject any or all bids.

A public hearing of an application by
Karma Convenience Store for a vari-
ance will be held during the Ward
County Planning Commission meet-
ing on Thursday, May 21, 2020 at
7:00 pm in Room 106 & 108 of the
Ward County Administration Build-
ing. The purpose of the request is a
setback variance to the west and
south of the property on the follow-
ing described property:

and Lot A 32-157-82
You are receiving this notice be-
cause your property is located within
one mile of the above property. Per-
sons wishing to be heard on the pro-
posed variance will have the oppor-
tunity to address the Planning Com-

A Public Hearing on the application
in Case No. PU-19-310 was noticed
to be located at the State Capitol,

state emergency, the Public Hearing
will be held remotely to begin on
May 22, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. CDT. The

On May 22, 2020, the Commission

trative Law Judge. On August 30,
2019, Northern States Power Com-
pany filed an application for an Ad-
vance Determination of Prudence to
acquire, own and operate the 98.9
MW repowered Mower County Wind
Energy Facility located at Grand
Meadow, Mower County, Minnesota.
The Mower County wind facility con-
sists of 43 2.3 MW turbine genera-
tors. The issues to be determined in
this matter are:
1. Whether NSP’s proposed
resource addition is prudent; and
2. Whether the Commission should
grant NSP an advance determina-
tion of prudence.
