Woman killed when SUV hits stalled SUV in North Dakota

ST. JOHN (AP) — Authorities say an 18-year-old woman was killed when an SUV struck a stalled all-terrain vehicle in northern North Dakota.

Authorities say a Honda ATV had mechanical problems and was stalled on the edge of the road. The driver of a Polaris ATV had hooked up his winch to tow the vehicle when a Cadillac Escalade struck the group as they were preparing to leave.

A St. John woman, Taitum Eller, 18, who was a passenger on the Honda ATV was killed. The driver of that ATV suffered non-life-threatening injuries and the other ATV driver was not hurt. The SUV driver also was not injuried.
