Minnesota Twins Caravan comes to Minot

Making its first stop in North Dakota this offseason, the Minnesota Twins Winter Caravan has arrived in Minot for a meet and greet at noon this afternoon at the Dakota Square Mall.

Scheduled to make an appearance are current Twins Kohl Stewart and Mitch Garver, as well as broadcasters Bert Blyleven and Dan Gladden.

Admission will be five dollars at the door which includes either a hot dog from Dairy Queen or chicken nuggets and fries from Burger King, served at the event. All proceeds will be donated to Companions for Children.

The only access point to enter the event at the Dakota Square Mall will be the former Sears mall entrance.

The Twins Winter Caravan is making stops in more than 40 communities throughout Twins territory between Jan. 14 and Jan. 24. After coming through Minot, the Twins Winter Caravan will roll on to make an appearance at the University of Mary later in the evening at 7 p.m.

More North Dakota stops in Valley City (Tuesday), Grand Forks (Wednesday) and Fargo (Thursday) are also planned. For more information visit mlb.com/twins/community/winter-caravan.
