NDSU men’s track & field signs Rodin of Kenmare
FARGO — The North Dakota State University men’s track & field team has signed Jacob Rodin of Kenmare to a National Letter of Intent, head coach Don Larson announced today.
Rodin, of Kenmare High School, was the North Dakota Class B state champion in the 400-meter dash as a senior this year, as well as taking runner-up honors in the 800-meter at the state meet. As a junior in 2017, he placed second in the 800-meter and third in the 400-meter for Kenmare-Bowbells at the North Dakota state meet.
Also a second-team all-state performer in football and basketball, Rodin was the valedictorian of his graduating class at Kenmare High. He posted high school personal-best times of 49.49 seconds in the 400-meter and 1:55.03 in the 800-meter run.
The Bison men have won a combined 17 indoor and outdoor Summit League team titles since 2008, including nine straight outdoor crowns.
