Majettes hockey drops fifth straight in loss to Fargo North/South
FARGO — The Minot High School girls hockey team suffered another forgettable defeat Saturday afternoon in an 8-1 thrashing by Fargo North/South.
The Majettes (5-7, 5-4 N.D. League) have now lost their last five games with an ugly scoring margin against of 42-4. Minot was outshot 38-17 against FNS.
Paige Ackerman scored the Majettes lone goal in the third period. FNS got a hat trick from Graysen Myers and two first-period goals from Anna Erickson.
Amber Borkhuis made 30 saves in net for Minot.
The Majettes return to Maysa Arena for the first time since Dec. 9 on Tuesday at 7 p.m. to host Williston.
