MHS girls close out regular season with home loss
The Minot High girls basketball team closed out the regular season Tuesday night with a 55-46 home loss to Turtle Mountain Community High School.
The Bravettes held a slim 23-22 lead at intermission, but outscored Minot 32-24 in the second half to pull away for the win.
With the win, Turtle Mountain secures homecourt advantage in a West Region tournament play-in contest against the Majettes set for Saturday in Belcourt.
Faith Dionne scored 18 points in the win for Turtle Mountain, while Hannah Golus added 12.
Kali Askvig scored 17 points in the loss for Minot, while Evie Reynolds added 11.
