Tauros defeat Bismarck for the first time this season

It took until game No. 4 between the Minot Minotauros and the Bismarck Bobcats, but the Minotauros finally took down their rivals, 3-2, Friday night at Maysa Arena.

After a goal from Bismarck Nick Alexander 4:13 into the contest, the Minotauros responded with two late goals in the first period from Alex Adams (18:39) and Tyler Jeanson (19:16). Minotauros Spencer Zwiener added another to start the second period (2:51).

Alexander scored again at the the start of the third period (5:28) to make things interesting, but the Minotauros held on for the 3-2 victory.

Minot plays again today against the Aberdeen Wings on the road at 7:15 p.m.
