What then is your solution? Stop using ND oil and coal? Buy from the Middle East?

It is good to know those stacked up trains are empty-it does not change my concerns for the ability of the city and the railroad to handle an accident in the city limits.

Those trains parked along Railway Avenue are empties. The old switching yard is used for staging trains until the oil facilities can handle them.

I have seen as many as four oil trains stacked up along Railway Ave. Living a block away from them makes you aware of the magnitude of the oil industry. My concern is the preparedness of the city and the railroad to handle the "accident"? Our city leadership shouldn't allow history to repeat itself (ammonia derailment)-Who pays for putting out the fire? It's easier when it is small.

More worried about the XL pipeline if built there is going to be more spill than a train

It happens, so ignoring the possibility is not very smart.

More worried about some nut setting off a little c4 by the parked trains that sit idle on Railway ave.
