I read through the years and think, "Hmm...World War 2, Vietnam, 1984 might have been OK, 2004 was when I graduated from college and based on the experiences of my cohort, I'd say the prospects even then were 'meh'. Would not want to be the Class of 2014 though, that's for sure."
Is it just me, or has there never been a really great time to graduate? Or maybe it's just that life is tough and if you don't get out there and fight the daily struggle to master it, it will master you.

I guess the future is bright for the class of 2014 if you desire to drive a 18 wheeler around the bakken for a few years....and when that's over and done get in on the bakken superfund cleanup by the federal government....that should be a good gig.

with the current state of oligarchy I don't see much hope for the class of 2014.....the rich will continue to prosper from crony capitalism and government subsidies/ tax breaks....the neocons will revive the poor house if they get a chance....socialism for the rich...capitalism for the rest!

the "middle class" which used to pay the bills has been in decline since the Reagan 80s...it has been replaced with the "working poor" who now are picking up the tab for the ubber rich....lets give bush/cheney one more chance in 2016 huh?....lets find the WMDs once and for all, and kill osama bin laden.
