Do you think the U.S. will pass comprehensive changes to national immigration policy?

  1. Yes, soon
  2. Yes, but it's years away
  3. Never

Legend your theory would work if it wasn't Republicans giving the workers the jobs. You got confused with the ones who want handouts and the ones who want to work. My guess is they will mistrust the Democrats for not giving them free plates full of food.

Just one of the dilemmas republicans have created 4 themselves. They want the cheap labor but don't want that labor to vote. So they talk smoove to the latino voters; attempting to convince them they really care. The day is soon coming when the latino vote will have much influence and it is unlikely they will forget the 2 faced republican party of today. The oligarchy will b in a struggle 2 survive.

I don't have the luxury of "losing faith" in my party.

I think I have lost faith in both parties. Neither seem to be in touch with the people. The on going struggle for power at any given cost. Lies and half-truths fill the air on capitol hill. We are a nation that allows everything but we are tolerant of nothing. Those who cry out that "Their group" is being mistreated, are also the ones who will speak the most hateful and spiteful talk to others with complete abandonment of their ideals of 'tolerance'. This country is being flipped on its ear with the runaway hypocrisy on all sides. All for what...a better world? So we all can get along. I just don't see that picture being painted. Power, control and greed.

"If we ban/limit immigration then we need to make abortion illegal or we will run out of people to pay taxes."

Yeah, and then the whole country will be like North Dakota . . . putting one dollar in, getting two dollars back and then whining and complaining like a bunch of two-years-olds.

we all feel my Democrat Party, me and PreJudice17, are all thankful we can keep those slaves on our Democrat Party plantation, cultivating votes for all Democrat Party politicians and Obama....I know PreJudice16 feels that way....he wants those slaves to move our Democrat Party forword.....why else would our Democrat Party keep all those people down....but we do promise we will move them forword, even if we really don't mean it...we justa feel we have to offer them 'hope'....

Something needs to happen, when all the baby boomers are retired during that time more than half the people in this country will be over 65. We need workers to help what kids were born and know what production is. We need people who will produce food, homes, elderly care.. people who actually work for a living. Way to much government jobs right now to be supported by just the citizens we have now.

'comprehensive'....is another bast ardized word to help my Democrat Party move forword....we all can feel we move forword when we sanction those that break the law in order to help my Democrat Party move forword...let's compromise to make this comprehensive law move forword....I feel the Republics need to reach across the aisle so they won't look racist on this one, or my Democrat Party WILL call them racists...
