Turn around is fair play:
I think it is wonderful that we have someone on this blog who knows everything there is to know about Conservatives. I am constantly amazed at how centerfield can know what is in every conservatives heart and soul. Unfortunately, centerfield has no idea of what she stands for. Her ideas spring forth from what ever left wing talking points she sees or the garbage spewed out by the like of Mathews,Maddow,Schultz, and all the other irrelevant left wing talkies. There is always one or two under currents that are all centers: hatred, ridicule, racism, and most of all,,,,,,, utter lack of intelligent communication.

"They LOVE the Government"
Yes, I LOVE Ronald Reagan TOO!
That President with 10 quotes about who & what was the problem/solution and went on to create the biggest public sector increase and deficit in history!!!
You guys can't even tread water anymore in that sea of hypocrisy unless you get the Koch Brothers to supply new & unapproved history books for every grade school in America.....
History has never been on your side!

"I've got to stick with my Democrat Party line I feel".....
Least we forget, if you don't look like me clause, written by D ick Cheney into our beloved single page dossier we affectionately refer to as Homeland Security..... This Republicon gargantuan anti-acid reliever for even the best civil rights attorney was passed on the notion of smaller govt. & less bureaucracy.....I feel it is because they say it is.....

Yeah, Prove it. Even though I personally don't think texting and driving is safe, a simple little action called deleting works. And it would be straight ludicrous to spend thousands on retrieving deleted files for these kinds of cases.

*prove what was observed was in fact texting while driving

Prove the driver was texting while driving. Maybe they were hanging up the phone after finishing talking, or dialing a phone number or osmething.
That's what will be argued in court and it will work.
If the issue is distracted driving--the police can charge that and don't need the phone proof. They need the phone 4 texting while driving. The fear and the crime is distracted driving. If that is observed they can cite it w/o a phone record. If they insist on charging "texting while driving"--get a warrant.

I've got to stick with my Democrat Party line I feel.....if you've got nothing to hide, then what's the problem? Gubment has to do it's job, and why should there be any impediments to that end?
You would only be against these searches if you've got something to hide....I feel...
Correction....B.) Is the correct answer. It's early...for me.

C.) Is the correct answer. It's in the Constitution. That document you espouse but haven't read.

Should police be allowed to search information in a diary without the arrested person’s permission?
Now wait a second, this is someone who has actually been arrested? What's the usual procedure if someone is arrested and they have, say, a manilla folder full of documents on them? Can that folder be searched without a warrant if the person has actually been arrested?
Something like that should be the standard for proceeding with cell phones.

yES, IF THEY ARE CHECKING FOR RECENT USE, SUCH AS TEXTING WHILE DRIVING.BUT IF THEY ARE CHECKING CONTENT THEN THEY SHOULD NEED A WARRANT.
