The United States has been in the red for decades. From 2000 through 2012 alone the U.S. lost $8.4 trillion through an unbalanced trade deficit. The U.S. imports far more than it exports. In addition, the nation has a debt of over $17 trillion. Rather than creating wealth by manufacturing, we are pretending to create wealth by printing money. This is not sustainable.

I agree. There's nothing tangible in printing money, or the "wealth" it supposedly creates. It's sleight of hand on an international scale.

President Johnson declared a war on poverty, so the current cadre of fools in the US Administration can't declare that war all over again, so the need to wage a war on prosperity is their only choice, and they'll do so with great fanfare and much joy.

The goal by the current administration is to make everybody poor and they are doing their very best to make it that way.

The current administration running the gov can have all of the credit, they deserve it.

Since you claim that there is no God, then when the time comes for Rethuglicans to be judged, you will be taken aback when God does actually appear on that judgment day.

You deny the existence, yet you hope there is a God so he can dispense the judgment you choose for the Rethuglicans, in essence, you want them in Hades and not Heaven.

You want somebody else to do the work, a typical liberal who just wants to call the shots, then have somebody else lift the barge and tote the bale, and pay for it all, too.

You're a hypocrite, you receive the grand prize, a gold medal winner.

Congratulations

Somehow, God will have some compassion for your poor tortured soul. Provide some relief, your fears relieved.

But, since there is no God and there never will be a God, you can rest in peace. The battle is won, by you alone. Nobody can fight it and win unless Bill Garr is there to save the day.

Still a hypocrite who lives by a double standard.

What you do is not God's work.

Respectfully speaking, billgrr, it won't be you determining who "the least of these" were, are or will be. That person will be Jesus Christ.

Final answer: He has done it and would gladly do it all over again.

Best answer of all.

The doofus president has destroyed America and would gladly do it all over again and again and again and again and again and again and do it all over again and again and again.

The war on the American people never stops when the Republicans and Democrats hold the reins of power of the US gov.

With any luck, there is a Hades and with any luck, all Republicans and Democrats will reside there for eternity. They need to go someplace, Hades is the right place for them.

They have destroyed this country and the spirit of America and the American people.

Hades is the perfect place for both of those criminally insane political parties.

They'll spend all of their time hating each other, the miserable rotten wretches they both are.

Thank God they'll be gone some day.

"Terror in a Little Town"

"A mad right wing judge who wants to take over the country airs subliminal radio messages to control the minds of the locals to disguise the fact he used an area atomic plant to build a bomb he has sent hidden in statute to Washington, D.C."

I saw this movie in Arizona a month ago.....Apparently, so has the Right Wing Media including the MDN!

Who is this guy?

Obama is the best thing this country has had in the last 50 years!

If anything, his Presidency has allowed all the HATERS of everything this country stands for to wear mirrors in the front of their faces!!!

The real story is that NAFTA has created jobs in America and has given border country citizens a wage to actually purchase American goods.

Crystal ball economics would have never predicted someone from a Mexican blue collar community forking out $400 for an Iphone but Apples 6 Billion $ sales didn't come from Kansas alone.....

Never trust FOX economics EVER! They're not capable of seeing the future, only the past!!!

Out in California, where renewable energy plays like wind turbines have resulted in hundreds of golden eagles to be killed and has caused a local endangerment of the eagles, somehow those green energy enthusiasts always come up with an excuse to justify the deaths of golden eagles from wind turbines. Actually, the numbers are staggering, but it is a 'pass' for the liberal renewable energy anti-fossil fuel nutjobs.

There are 14,000 abandoned wind turbines in California alone and it is highly unlikely that those who want more renewable energy and the absence of a fossil fuel base for energy production will be out there dismantling the useless wind turbines.

It is going to take an enterprising and wise individual to find a way to salvage the wind turbines at a cost to allow a profit.

The greenies aren't going to lift a finger to work whatsoever to rectify the wind energy boondoggles that scar, spoil beautiful landscapes. It is environmental devastation for animals and humans.

You are slipping or out to lunch JustaGarr as your latest posts have 0 agrees and 4 disagrees. Not everyone here likes you it appears.

Better you warm up the computer and make some adjustments.

Muleskinner; The Livermore, Ca. wind turbines of late seem to be mostly out of action in the past few years...even with the hot air of Governor Moonbeam Brown.

Is this comment coming from your foot or your mouth animal?

The scariest moment in history is actually NOW! This new found intellect coming from the right wing machine that says they get it.....

Get what? 90%.....Ninety percent of the problems we have in this country have come from prior administrations.....Cont

"I can't even imagine this country in another 20 years, you people are fool!"

Well animal, the country has determined that the Republican nominees were not worth the risk of their predecessors and voted against repeating the same mistake over again!

Would you like to go back to fall of 2008? How was your 401 animal?

If you're a soldier, would you like 2004-2011? Would you like to leave your family, strap on an AR because someone had a personal agenda and couldn't give a #$@^ about you?

And this is why nobody EVER,EVER brings up ONE single positive specific moment. Liberals bring up the bad ones for sure but there's no one there to rebuke or present facts to the contrary!!!

Why is that?

I have lived in 5 states and have read and continue to read many newspapers. The Minot Daily News editorial board is the most racist and right-wing board I have ever observed. Your polls lack objectivity and always have a political agenda.
