Fear must rule the lives of some people. Any aspect of life includes risk: marriage, education, public restrooms, walking across the street, driving, eating, family heredity...not just healthcare needs.

I "feel" I shouldn't be forced to fear like some people do, but the Democrats in Congress and President Obama are "feeling" for me, FORCING me to buy something (commerce clause argument) or be taxed (Judge Roberts' argument) if I don't buy something.

All for the sake of fear. Nice how that works.

Risking the fine is nothing. This year, the fine is 1% of your AGI. What you are really risking is that if you get sick or have an accident this you, you will have to pay medical costs which cannot be known ahead of time. You will pay 1% of your income in tax and 100% of the medical costs you accrue.

Then why the continued slams against the network Chris Wallace works for?

Isn't it an all-or-nothing thing against Faux News with libs?

Here's an idea: refer to "Chris Wallace" as the source and just leave out where he works. Scot-free!

C'mon little "Kettle".....Chris Wallace has been around for 30+ yrs and I've enjoyed his work for the entire time.....You don't see that grin/angst on his face when his employer makes him do things he doesn't believe because you're a bonafide believer with calloused knees.....

You're sounding more & more like Pa "Kettle".....Interesting!

You can keep your family doctor. Premiums will be lowered by $2500. If you like it, you can keep your current healthcare plan. It's just like shopping at Amazon. I knew nothing about "Fast and Furious" gunrunning to Mexican drug cartels. I knew nothing about IRS targeting conservative groups. I knew nothing about what happened in Benghazi. I have never known my uncle from Kenya who is in the country illegally and that was arrested and told to leave the country over 20 years ago. And, I have never lived with that uncle. He finally admitted (12-05-2013) that he DID know his uncle and that he DID live with him.

And the biggest one of all:

"I, Barrack Hussein Obama, pledge to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States of America."

JustaGarr, step out of you computer room for a change to see what your messiah has done to this country...but lies are you libs forte.

I will have the most transparent administration in history. The stimulus will fund shovel-ready jobs. I am focused like a laser on creating jobs. The IRS is not targeting anyone. It was a spontaneous riot about a movie. If I had a son. I will put an end to the type of politics that "breeds division, conflict and cynicism". You didn't build that! I will restore trust in Government. The Cambridge cops acted stupidly. The public will have 5 days to look at every bill that lands on my desk It's not my red line - it is the world's red line. Whistle blowers will be protected in my administration. We got back every dime we used to rescue the banks and auto companies, with interest. I am not spying on American citizens. Obama Care will be good for America.

Larry, good assessment as most here have had that figured out for a long time. Seems like MDN is oblivious to his tactic and or can't do anything to stop it.

I've been telling the Editor for some time to fix this site or scrap it. Maybe if more people wrote them it would help.

Even though I say "polls schmolls," I thought I'd post this newest one for those saying how popular Obamacare is.

"The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 58% of Likely U.S. Voters have at least a somewhat unfavorable opinion of the health care law, with 43% who view it Very Unfavorably. Just 39% have a favorable view of the law, including 16% with a Very Favorable one."

I already had coverage, but self-employed family members now have insurance. They are healthy. They are working. They are paying! They are pleased and I am pleased for them. One has a small business in which he can now offer insurance to his employees!

The rest from thehill . com:

"'When Aretha first told us what “R.E.S.P.E.C.T.” meant to her, she had no idea it would become a rallying cry for African Americans, and women, and then everyone who felt marginalized because of what they looked like or who they loved,' the White House transcript reads."

Now that's nice, isn't it, changing a little embarassing snafu for a president. And before billgrr gets all billigerent on us, thehill article referenced that other presidents' mistakes have been corrected for the official WH transcripts.

Y'know, I thought we'd better have equal time on snafus, because billgrr chose not to give it. You're welcome...

"Too many OB-GYNs aren't able to practice their love with women all across this country." George Bush

From cbsnews . com: "President Obama wanted to show Aretha Franklin the respect she deserves as an iconic entertainer, but he had a little trouble spelling the word. During his opening remarks for a pretaped broadcast of PBS' "Women Of Soul" special from the White House, President Obama botched the spelling of one of Franklin's most famous songs." The video has the President saying "rspect."

From thehill . com: "...anyone reading the official transcript of the event provided by the White House would have had no idea of the president's mistake. In that version, the president correctly spells out the word.

Oh, and missy, when you post comments about me that are false or missleading, what is that called? Now, when you stretch the truth, what is that called? Example: " One lost a job, due to all the extra expenses." "Oregon got money from the Government, for their Website. It still isn't working." Now, what has one got to do with the other? Does your son live in Oregon? Did he lose his job because of Obamacare? What skewing of the facts is this? Or, was this just a mixup of information.

So, missy, this one incident has caused you to change party's? Now, this is interesting. Let's compare the other party. When this happened, the Republicans had spent almost $80 million to investigate the Clintons(Ken Starr). He investigated everything for twenty years or more and came up with Bill lieing about sex. Hmmm. Now, lets impeach?? The leader of the other party (the one you switched to) was at that time having an affair even though his wife was fighting cancer at the time. Hmmm This party that you now support had a President/VP/Sec. of State/sec. of defense, who lied to the people of the US that Iraq had WMD's and skewed the media to cause us to invade a sovereign nation. This action killed Hundreds of thousand innocent Iraqies, thousands of Allied soldiers, and was probably considered the biggest mistake in military history. Now, throw in the economic collapse and a few other things and you still support this new party??? Now, that really balances out.

Centerfield, I have never lied about you. You to are what you are. I was part of your wonderful party and said Monica was asking for it. Hilary saying it was all an conspiracy And then, the bombshell. I kept saying to the TV, just tell the truth. He did indeed have his way with Monica. That was the day I decided not to vote democrat. And you can only blame faux news. I guess I don't know that station. And you are not very convincing, I have worked for 30 years for companies and have my own business. My husband shut his down as he is retiring. Assumptions.

Ah, yes, a progressive finally speaking some truth. Thanks, PJinfinity, for your take on what's "paternalistic crap" in your view.

With women at least 50% of the electorate, it's smart for politicians of any party to see what it is that women consider important, right?

"I feel your pain" Spoken by a progressive who campaigned as a moderate, none other than Pres. Bill Clinton.

From examiner: "The liberal Democrats agenda for women is birth control, “plan B” abortion pills, and abortion on demand with the government paying for it too. What is so much in interest of women about that agenda? What about economic growth, defending our country against terrorism, and having real choice of quality schools for our children? Those are priorities for real women but not liberal Democrats....I'm amazed there remains a single educated woman that still supports and votes for liberal Democrats."
