Are you kidding me? Really.

China has purchased 3 million hectares of farmland in Ukraine.

The plan is to isolate the US from all of Asia. That is why these toothless sanctions are declared. The US is losing the battle because it has no money and an all debt-based economy. It doesn't work.

Doesn't matter how mighty the army, navy or anything else, it is time to do something different.

The US has lost this game big time.

It is at the crisis stage and all the US can do is panic.

Sanctions schmanctions, just plain laughable; a fool's errand.

Google China buying farmland and find out how much they are buying.

They are buying farmland in Saskatchewan. They are also buying land in the US.

Why? Because they are not broke.

The US gov can't do a thing about it.

Sanctions will worsen the predicament and erode diplomacy. The US is left holding the bag.

Russia prevails. They brought their army. China brings money. Works best of all.

Buying farmland and leasing farmland are two different things, but not to a black or white ideologue.

I just wish Sarah Palin were president. She'd know what to do.

Too bad she up and decided to quit as governor to do her book tour.

So, what do you suggest be done about Russia, miley, attack with nuclear weapons? That would certainly be up the Republican alley. You have no ideas except the radical wing thoughts.

The russian stock market fell 500 points the day the first sanctions kicked in. More sanctions 2 come. Switch channels 4 the positive (and American) side of the story.

I hope the economic sanctions against Russia will work, as the interests of the entire country are at stake.

Just like billgrr told us after (or before, maybe) President Bush invaded Afghanistan and Iraq: the interests of the entire country are at stake.

I'm rooting for something...

Stock market is one thing. Its influence on a country's president is another. IF Putin does something different as a result of the Russian stock market going down, then Legend's upbeat posting will prove more true.

Personally, I don't know how much attention a former KGB man would pay to his country's stock market, like we in the US do.

You know loco, you always become so critical of the way the situation is going, or that we liberals support a President for not going to war, what is your solution. We are different from your side, as the republican war mongers want war- what is your solution? You ask for our solution, Well, we support the administration. We don't want soldiers needlessly killed and maimed. Do you? Show us your solution. But, we already know what you will say. Just like in the past... sidestep and push it off to the left to solve these problems, because the right cannot.

centerish sez: "Show us your solution. But, we already know what you will say."

Didn't I say "I hope the economic sanctions against Russia will work, as the interests of the entire country are at stake?"

Didn't I also say that Legend's (upbeat and positive) post about the Russian stock market going down might be a bit too upbeat and positive? Does Putin care about the stock market?

I recall many old socialists of the former USSR not caring too much about stocks or even fellow Russians, instead caring more about what they & the KGB could do.

"..sidestep and push it off to the left to solve these problems, because the right cannot."

On a really unrelated note, how's that Obamacare solution working out for the left? 100% approval? Or is that too critical?
