I for one don't feel that this winter has been any more harsh than many winters in the passt. Sure it's been cold but we've had other winters just as cold and colder and some with a lot more snow!!!! If you are cranky don't blame it on the weather look at your inner self!!!!

I got a job, full time. I just don't like accusers like you and the rest of the Democrat party. Cry and whine and call people racist everyday. Well for sure I am not racist, I don't like Biden and Hilary either. Stick that in your pipe and smoke it.

Garr Complaining??? No just calling attention to the atrocities of Obama.

And then sitting back and watching people like you try to defend his actions he has taken upon the American people and trying to get you to explain where he has blown borrowed and spent 7 TRILLION dollars with nothing to show for it..

Garr I'm a Conservative..I'm Happy all the time.. Unlike the liberals..

I can spot them a mile away.. they are always frowning and if they open their mouth they have nothing but complaints and bad attitudes.. so actually that winter was pretty great.. Just like this winter and every before it..

I guess if a person gets cranky in winter they should find a place to live where winters are not as harsh..

Harsh and cold winters is not a new thing for North dakota is it??????????

What is there really to be cranky about? Our homes, cars and roads are better than ever before and those in need get fuel assistance and Food Stamp Cards. I need not add to the list but people should be grateful and it might just help their self-worth...if they tried to improve their condition without relying on someone else to always help them out.

Get a job and there would be a lot less time to complain.

There's that sharp wit again, willgrr.

I remember the winter of 1966 had A LOT of snow. I lived in SD at the time with my parents. To us kids, it was NEAT to go next door to stay with the neighbors when our heat and electricity went out.

Then there was the winter of 1961 and 1962..The coldest month of 1962 was February with an average daily low temperature of -0°F.

That was a cold winter.. Many ranchers lost alot of stock that winter..

Last year was worse...it was negative 12 on March 26th with a record cold April to follow...it probably prevented another flood event....but sure hope it's above freezing in April this year.

I see there's not much to do in this "unusually harsh winter" except spread some of that harshness around to those who don't share your opinions.

You're excelling at something, libs...

A simple question about the weather and muleskinner gets all political and cranky. And we "libtards" are supposed to be the cranky ones? Eh, Pot to kettle....

Back to the question. This isn't the worst streak of bitter cold we've seen. Several years in the 70's were worse, a couple in the 80's and 90's too. And don't get me started about the Winter of 78-79 or was it 77-78?

If my own mother were not so disillusioned and embittered by the idiot occupying the White House, I might be able to have some compassion for the useful idiot who sits there with a smile on his face thinking about the front nine.

January 21 of 2017 can't get here soon enough.

Anybody but Owhatshisname, I forgot already.
