It's soooo inspiring to hear the smartest man ever unite the country. Long live the emperor. and not one lie ever passes this man's lips. it's so sad that everyone can't see the greatness that oozes from 'The Food Stamp President'.

Well with one out of every seven (44,842,857.2 people) on food stamps I would say there were plenty.

"This is a new low for the Minot Daily news."

It is a legitimate poll question.

At least they made it to bed without being in fear of being droned; if that is any consolation. A president who uses drones and ends up killing women and children is the new low being ignored here.

It is better to shoot the messenger, this time, it is the Minot Daily.

Food prices are higher since Obama became president. Much higher. Costs of everything are more and it doesn't take a hungry child to know what has become a real problem. All since Obozo the Clown has been at the wheel. It ain't the car, it's the driver.

Mr. Obama has made sure that Wall Street hasn't gone hungry. He has more compassion for billionaires than the ordinary Jack and Jill out there in America with a family. There is no doubt about it.

Obama stood before Congress and told them lie after lie, an obvious attempt to reach another new low.

Obama's kitchen staff prepares meals all of the time for the president, he doesn't have to worry about hunger.

Best poll question ever!!!! But by reading the posts so far the ignorant liberals are still blinded by Obama's lies.

•15.9 million children lived in food insecure US households in 2012.

•20% or more of the child population in 37 states and D.C. lived in food insecure households in 2011, according to the most recent data available. New Mexico (30.6%) and the District of Columbia (30.0%) had the highest rates of children in households without consistent access to food.

•In 2012, 16.1 million or approximately 22 percent of children in the U.S. lived in poverty

Yeah when you can force people into spending money on health ins so they can't file medical bankruptcy it seems obvious who the new health care program is intended to help.

real...I am thinking if the parents live in poverty so do the children, and if the children live in poverty so do the parents. Pretty hard to separate like your poll does.

I suppose about the same amount that went to bed hungry in the Bush administration. What does that question have to do with the state of the union speech.

none, that is why we have food stamps and food banks, maybe if the parents will spend their ebt on food instead of junk and alcohol and cigarettes and whatever. Why do we have school lunch program? Why are the kids obese in grade schools? This children hungry is a false, being put forward by the left, socialists, progressive idealogs

This is exactly why we need a conservative president. All these libs are feeding off the rest of us and can't see the truth. The only times in my life where I have ever had tough times are when this nation gets stupid and elects a Donkey party president Carter, Clinton, Obama.....bad for america, bad for the american worker.

If all those people are on food stamps, why'd they go to be hungry? Probably because they have terrible parents who spent their food stamps on candy/soda and not on healthy foods. Same parents who spend any money they do make on cigarettes/booze/weed. This country is a joke because of idiots who really believe ANY President could have made a difference from the ****** up mess that 8 years of GWB left us.

Strange. It seems that someone's hacked today's poll. On here, it says, "Did you watch President Obama's State of the Union address?" But on the homepage of this site, it says something like, "How many American children went to bed hungry Tuesday night while Obama was putting a happy face spin on the debacle that is his presidency?"

Seriously. What's going on? Did someone totally hack this website today?

I'll summarize: another of his vicious attacks on a Republican woman.

I watched the SOTU speech, and I watched the Republican rebuttal.

You're out to lunch, Veritas, and it ain't even 8:30 a.m.

With all the continued vitriol against Republican women, I'm beginning to believe your story of a Republican wife is just that...a story.

If the MDN was hacked, was the hacker a Democrat or Republican?

Yup, the poll on the Home page is the other "how many children went to bed hungry" question.

Curiouser and curiouser...
