Robust national economy vs. extension of unemployment benefits were the two points I referenced.

Nappie, I don't see your point at all, but I'm positive it was delivered with the usual amount of liberal snark.

Yes, North Dakota's economy is booming, and perhaps LS is taking advantage of that.

Now are there real numbers yet from this administration concerning the recovery? Pres. Obama can't have it both ways, y'know.

If there's a robust recovery, there's no need for further unemployment extensions, right? And if there's such a need for further unemployment extensions, perhaps the recovery isn't as robust, eh?

Seems logical...

Seems Garr has a problem with low taxes yet these very people that complain about low taxes have the opportunity to write a check and send it to the Government.

But they won't put their money where their mouth is.. What bothers them about low taxes is they cannot get a raise in their welfare checks unless we the working class pay more..

And if you want to talk about raising taxes..Look at the taxes Obamacare will force on the people.. And where will those taxes go? To the welfare class.. as expected..

Obama enables the poor to stay that way.. No jobs, no incentives just more handouts..

Put me in charge of food stamps. I'd get rid of E.B.T. cards; no cash for Ding Dongs or Ho Ho's, just money for 50-pound bags of rice and beans, blocks of cheese and all the powdered milk you can haul away. If you want steak and frozen pizza, then get a job.

That's right get a JOB.

Landslide, What are you doing to help? ------

Probably paying taxes to help feed them; that's what. Half pay no taxes at all and go to the Hillsboro Free Lunch Counter or elsewhere.

How do you suppose a banner stating

"We got nothing"

Is going to resonate with the public?

Thanks WillGarr, I feel better. Mine are... Active Articles: 463 Removed: 2 Active Polls: 203 Removed: 6

Funny thing is, the ones removed are when I am jokingly quoting a song or some goofy quote...I have developed a following of haters on my Vote NO campaign; I am just doing my part on the No Committee.

With all the poverty and hunger I imagine the worlds oldest profession is booming and banging. We will no doubt see strippers on every corner twerking for a dollar or two. Sounds bizarre and even evil maybe. Quite a trip down memory lane we are taking ourselves and the country, all the way to the 1700-1800 Age of Enlightenment. Enlightenment Toward the middle of the eighteenth century a shift in thinking occurred. This shift is known as the Enlightenment. You have probably already heard of some important Enlightenment figures, like Rousseau, Diderot and Voltaire. It is helpful I think to think about the word "enlighten" here—the idea of shedding light on something, illuminating it, making it clear.
