Hydrants will be a moot point it a train carrying bakken crude derails in the city limits.....half the downtown of Lac-Mégantic was destroyed...Around 150 firefighters were deployed to the scene, described as looking like a "war zone.

We have conscientious neighbors on our corners who take care of the hydrants.

A dog, any dog, will be able to locate a hidden hydrant, then you can go to work and shovel the snow around the hydrant.

The fire department's Dalmatian would be happy doing the job.
