There will be flooding, just a matter of where and how much. Whole roads underwater over last few years south of Minot. Some had lakes where roads used to be. Trust the govt though, just ask native Americans.
For those of you that actually pay attention while your driving .How many big rigs have you seen hauling the plastic tubing.I have seen close to a hundred. This tubing is used by the farmer to help drain the water of his farm land. All I can say is it's going to be a whopper of a spring.

This summer when driving from the lake we have never seen water like there is in the countryside and our farmer friends all say the same. This year has broken all precip records - the year prior was 75 which led to the huge 76 evac that Jim Ruyak - corps of engineers - led the fight against. He knew what he was doing. I don't have faith in the Corps of today and the city has not done one thing to improve flood control over 2011. It is scary.

73 I may agree with you on the stores, but what does that have to do with this question? but then by things you have said in the past you really don't give a crap do you.

I don't live in Minot but my family is all there and I'm very concerned. I hope all you folks up there make it through with no flooding.
And what has the City done with all the CBG MILLIONS? the only thing I see being done is building 2 Parking Garages downtown, that had nothing to do with the flood, and a new Fire Station on North Hill, and sewer and water project on South Hill. HMMMMMMMM
