M H W You are truly unbelievable! I really can't believe someone with your mindset is freely roaming among the public.

@realwildchyld...Never understood the ambulance chaser mentality,it just seems that when there is a emergency situation going on people should stay clear and let the emergency responders take care of things. It is not a mentality, but a curiosity to view history first hand....for we all know the truth gets distorted...and as Napoleon once saie.."history is a set of lies, agreed upon"

Ambulance chasing is a term associated with lawyers. It refers to an attorney’s practice of soliciting business from accident victims or their families at the scene of an accident or disaster.

Ambulance chasing is what lawyers do child...it is not someone with a desire to view a real life event....and they definitely don't draw any parallels to one another.

@MarkHighwater are saying that watching those two events on TV when we were not expecting either one is the same as ambulance chasing??? I say thay are not even close to the same thing in my way of thinking.
And if we are to see any footage of the events in a news program or the manny TV documentaries are we supposed to look away??? Again not even close to the same thing.

Mule, your logic does not compute.I understand the concrete and bricks are more sound in the construction business but the old saying that goes a lock will only keep the honest people honest. If you believe that these fires accidentaly started than there is no hope for you.I think all drivers should wear the seatbelt and all motorcycle riders should wear a helmet,It is the choice they want,so let it be.
How many times did we all watch the planes hit the twin towers on 9/11,or JFK get his head blown off?

I did drive out of my way to see but did not go anywhere near the fire or routes used by emergency vehicles.

If I were an insurance company, I would demand that these large 4 and 5 story buildings be constructed using steel and concrete. They don't burn as easily as wood does. Insures a fire resistant structure compared to a wood-framed fire trap. The fire department would rest easy at night.
I do see the insurance premiums increasing for the other stick built extended stay hotels that have been built over the past few years.
I drove by on my way to Vote NO.
