"Mean while, as the world turns,it is A great SOAP opera for the rest...."
Minot and ND lean so right it does not matter. Tax and spend to the point of illegal. I heard MADC type corp. welfare is challenged in the supreme curt. Spend a million to fight a Feredal abortion law--hmmm. free advertising for our monoply hospital every week by KX. Tell an MADC sponsored business their proposed wages are TOO HIGH. We r so right that moving left might make us legitimate and respectable. Oil with millions and billions r great but that $45k postal worker is just a "taker". I love the postal workers for not being greedy.

Veritas, you also made a remark about me. And you took aim at me, when my friend got murdered. Now, I do forgive and never forget. And very rarely Trust again.

vitriol - noun
1. a. See sulfuric acid.
b. Any of various sulfates of metals, such as ferrous sulfate, zinc sulfate, or copper sulfate.
2. Bitterly abusive feeling or expression.
Maybe I'll use the word "acid" instead of "vitriol" - that should get me off the hook for a while.
Maybe someone thinks I've been the only one designating wits or trolls on this site. I would respectfully disagree. I think others would disagree as well, perhaps with or without an included acidic response.

"You know what you can do with that censorship thingy..."
I admit I provided an opinion on how someone used the words "skill set" but did I say "shut up" or "close your pie hole" or "butt out" or any of the other gems I've seen libs use to get their censorship thingy rolling?
One right-winger on here really sticks it to the other side by calling them "stupid" or "dumb" but I don't recall him telling others to "shut up" (meaning don't say their viewpoints) either.
Do some of that famous c/p and prove that the intention is to censor, and to not provide an opinion, albeit strongly worded.
Veritas, I only go by Missy1. And I am tired of you and your buddies accusing me of things, you take everything I say out of context. And you put it out there as fact. Don't like it, do you.

I too think that "skill set" comment was a bit rude, but hey, why bother anyone when the vitriol is flowing?
*cue Jeopardy music while somebody thinks up a yet more rude response to this comment of mine
As far as leaning left, many news sources do. Some news sources lean right. Supposedly, if you get enough of both, you end up in the middle somewhere.
If you had the skill sets to identify writing style..
The guy who knows it all. The guy who can see into your house.. those skill sets veritassels??
The guy who has a Republican wife???

Who Leans more Right?
A. The Taliban B. The Republican Party C. The Democratic Party D. Independents E. ********
Does anyone mean to say that they trust any news source? Why?
"In order to regain some level of credibility, the news media announced it will stick to broadcasting the weather 24 hrs a day..."
This was funny, Veritas.
The media perpetuates it, by having things like the "One hitter quitter" in movies like "Baby Boy". Violence is equated with cool, sort of like in Clockwork Orange. Most of what happened in that movie, happens today, but is now common place.
Veritas, are you part of the Knock Out Game? If you don't have a clue about that, look it up. Party of "Silence". !!!!!!!!!!!!!

(Really, Fox News is your choice for unbiased commentary?) Of the three options, 'CBS' probably shouldn't be on here (was MSNBC too much of a lay-up?), considering its recent, rushed, Benghazi fraud flop was of a more right-wing brand of hog swill.
That said, NPR is a gem. Plus (SW), only 4.6 percent of its funding comes directly from governments, another 11.4 from the CPB; more than that (17 percent) comes from corporations, yet nobody ever seems to call it out as being a populist shill.

seriously MDN? You conservatives and your crazed obsession with the "liberal media". None of the listed media lean left; the majority of media outlets are corporate owned and shill for the right, treat facts as opinions and opinions as facts, and have completely vitiated civil discourse in this country.

The majority of NPR's funding comes from the tax payers, so of course they are going to lean left to maintain funding from the tax payers. Republicans have proposed to have NPR's tax payer funding cut back if not removed completely. Democrats want tax payers to continue to fund NPR. I guess if you are a conservative, why would you want your tax dollars funding a left leaning network? At least with CBS, FOX, NBC, etc... we have a choice whether we want to support their networks by supporting the advertisers who sponsor those networks. We don't have a choice with NPR, tax payers pretty much pay the bills whether you are a democrat or republican, even though NPR leans democrat in their opinions and views.
