at least the messiah can still golf - that's more important than death benefits for our Veterans. Amazing how people will sell their soul if they think they'll get free stuff taken from others that produce.

Is this the "administration" you're talking about?
“This isn’t ‘gridlock.’ It is a ferocious struggle within one party, between its traditionalists and its radical factions, with results that unfortunately can harm all the rest of us — and, should there be a debt default, could harm the rest of the world too,”
What's totally unfair is the phrasing of poll questions out there like who's MORE responsible...Latest numbers show an increase from 63% to 70% blame the Republicans...Totally unfair!
The Tea Party needs to take credit where credit is due so rephrase the polling question to Would you likely blame the Tea Party for this latest dysfunction in Congress? Get some numbers now because in 2014 they won't be able to hide within the radical right media like they're hiding in the Republican Party!

One would want to believe that murkans would want to think, but that is giving them the benefit of the doubt.
There is an excuse for ignorance, but not for stupidity.

That is the mantra of the right wing. After all we see it all the time. Every five minutes---"fair and balanced" but Fox also gives millions of dollars to republicans. Yep, mule, you are quoting right wing policy. Oh, and the policy of the US is that you don't negotiate with terrorists.

Never has this country been so divided and it's not the t part to blame, place the blame on Obamajahd as this has gone on for over five years.
It's not about working together but all about power and money with a dose of communism/socialism built into his fabric.
What would you expect from a son of communists? One that prefers Saul Alinski's book over any other.
Administration in this context always means the president and his staff, it would mean that if Reagan was still the president.
The truth is Obama is the only one shutting down national parks and monuments and even places that he has no authority to close! It is Obama that has ordered the park rangers to be as disruptive to people as posible the republicans and the tea party have no voice in that at all.......but nice try trying to deflect the blame by trying to make people think that administration doesn't mean the sitting president.

So what you're saying is that you are one of the less than 30% of Americans who do not hold the Republican party at fault...That this poll taken by an over zealous media day after day and post the results are somehow influenced and they know not what YOU do...
Guess we'll see in 2014!

"Never has this country been so divided and it's not the t part to blame"
It is precisely that!
This handfull of idealists might have a message but they deliver it like bdgi and this is why you will lose every popular vote for the next 20 years or more!
And you're a part of that whitler...Congratulations!
Never been to a T-Party event or belonged to any of their chapters...but it is not them to blame for the mess this country is in...it rests solely now on Oblama.
From what I can see the T-Party is from a very diverse segment of American society and are made up of all types of Americans. Just so happens that most oppose your messiah. AND THAT IS A VERY GOOD THING.

So you like brother Saul Alinski too, that would define you and your master.

I can see that the wildchyld's source of information is right wing talk radio. More garbage in and more garbage out. Got any conspiracy theories to throw in with that fairy tale you just spun.

VERITAS What I said was Obama is the administration and they are the ones closing national parks and the like......I think that each party is responsible for a certain part of the shut down but our president is the one calling for things to be made dificult for us.
I do listen to the right wing radio hosts on XM Radio but to be fair I listen to an equal amount of the left wing radio hosts each and every day......so you can forget that arguement buddy!!!
I listen to both sides so that when I get a chance to voice an opinion and cast a vote I know that I am qualified to do so. I don't always agree with the right wing point of view but to be truthfull it is about 80% of the time. The left wing I agree with sometimes but not very often because they are so way out in left field it just makes no sense how anybody could think that way.
Point is don't ever think that I don't listen to both sides of a situation.
I'm no fan of Bonehead so I can't help you there.....but you seem to love Obama and worship the golf course he plays on so why don't you ask HIM to take a break from golfing and negotiate with the otherside????
He is rummored to be a great at bringing people together!!!

I can't vote because there was no choice for "No, but Congress has been particularily punitive and stubborn."
Just wanted to let you know I spent my lunch break listening to Ed Schultz......man o'man have you left wingers got some high caliber talent spinning some lies for your side.
The House of Representatives will NOT pass anything that does not include the defunding of the Affordable Health Care Act, and they don't care who they hurt in order to do away with this program. They have to join for their medical care just like everybody else, with the exception of active duty military, and they don't like it and their end job is to defund the program and nothing else!!
leftwing you are wrong again!!! lol

I'd say the administration hasn't been "punitive" in all of this. On the contrary, the agencies proportionally hit the hardest by the shutdown's furlough include workers at NASA and the EPA, Labor, and the Interior - provinces of the left wing, according to the more curmudgeonly tea party types. And with each passing day, the cuts soften as positions become rediscovered as "mission essential".
Like how vet69 & diogenist weigh in with their opinion, and are POUNCED on by BDGI and his multi-personality disorders...
That 30% sure disagrees pretty loud!
Readers have to get halfway into the Associated Press report on its new AP-GFK poll to find this out, but Barack Obama’s job approval numbers have cratered in the shutdown. His overall job approval is now 37/53, and a majority want Obama to start cooperating more with Republicans.
Americans are slowly coming to their senses but still are eating from his trough of lies and drinking from the Kool-Aid fountain.

If you press yourself to read the other half of the report, Congress holds an abysmal 5 percent approval rating. While 52 percent of respondents did indeed find that Obama is not doing enough to coöperate with Republicans to end the shutdown, 63 percent also said that Republicans aren’t doing enough to coöperate with him. But at the end of the day, it's difficult to gauge the accuracy of the poll because its online-only methodology is new for the Ap-Gfk.
