I would like to see our congressional clowns limited to two terms to limit the damage that they can do while in office.

the libs haven't quite bankrupted the country yet so they'd love control of the house too. At least we have Heidi to help harry reid serve their messiah in the senate.

When one reads these comments it all makes some sense. Its no wonder this country is in total decline. America is populated with blind IDIOTS, and because the libs feed and cloth them, give them free cell phones and anything else they want, they continue to follow like sheep to the slaughter!I really see no hope for the future, to many stupid people!!

Both parties have members that are hurting this country big time, on the Democrate side you have Obama,Harry R and Nancy P on the republican you have Boehner and a few others so if you want this country changes back to what it once was we need to get rid of the Obama, Harry and Nancy and hope to*****that Hillary doesn't fool the nation into thinking she should be president like Obama has done to twice.

'Yes', if that's what it takes for drama-free legislating to return to Captiol Hill.

I just want to know if the Tea Partisans are proud to take credit for shutting down the U.S. government -- or angry and trying to blame Obama for their un-American activities.

It doesn't really matter due to the fact that corporate america owns the rights to both the donkey and the elephant brand...follow the money and it will lead you to the 1 percent.

if 'we' are going to hit 30-40 Trillion in debt by the time the messiah leaves office, (unless He is going to be our fearless leader again..) the house needs Nancy Pelosi's leadership.

Veritas---If BDGI doesn't live in the State what state, country, planet does he, she, it live in? Have we found out yet?

That "dictator" post was something to behold, could be used as evidence in a psychiatric evaluation.

Well there's evidence that BDGI lives out of State. He has two kids who are in unions, that couldn't happen in ND. And he/she/ resents their getting health insurance too. He/she hates everybody!!

"A well-known rule of Internet discourse is Godwin's law, which states that, as an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches inevitability."

I don't think Veritas has met Godwin yet...

willgrr, I beg to differ with you about that AP-GfK poll just appealing to conservatives.

Liberals were referring to it as well, in positive terms.

So which is it: should libs like it? Or hate it? Or should they wait until they find a poll that states exactly what they want it to?

Yeah, that last option seems the most plausible.

P.S. This source describes the poll's methodology nicely...
