Give them full pay and a bonus like the Wall Street maggots give themselves after they steal it all from the taxpayers.

Give all federal workers a million dollar bonus and double back pay.

It's only fair.

the Federal employees did not shut down parts of the government. they are not at fault for this stupid nonporductive move. The only ones who should not be paid are our elected fools.

Most Republicans if not all are slightly deranged and the Democrats, all of them, are fully deranged, so there is really no hope for any of them.

If they were to return home, they would all get lost, which would be a very good thing.

Don't worry, it can only get worse and it will.

We need to shrink this government big time folks, yes there are innocent people out of work right now but those jobs are not needed and never should have been created in the first place. Before you all go crazy calling me a right wing nut job, I do know that we do need certain sevices from our federal government but not at such a large scale. Our government should only provide secure borders and protection from outside threats everything else can be handled by the states.

The Repubs will come out with a mini resolutions today to make sure they get back pay. Another mini bill to get people to their side. The Repubs are anti-American and toxic to our country.

There is an answer to all of the problems and it ain't stupid Republicans or even the dumb Democrats, but nobody wants to listen, so it can all collapse under its own weight.

I could tell you the answer, but you won't believe me, so there is no need to give you the answer.

Just keep whistling in the dark, it's good for your dumbed down psyche.

No need for any of you to wake up, just be good sheep that keep getting sheared every day.

Bunch of whining little babies who refuse to grow up.

You all deserve what is coming and it is coming soon.

Yeah, right . . . You're all so conservative and thrifty and desirous of smaller government. . .

REALITY CHECK:

The beer guzzling capital of America is also one of the nation's biggest welfare queens.

Well what do you know?!

N.D. gets back nearly $2 for every $1 of federal taxes paid in.

So . . . You want to cut the bloated government?

Take your fat hands out of the public trough and start paying your own way, you mooching pigs.

we need to ask the Senate to get back to work and show some bipartisan, meaning Democrat and Republican, compromises as seen in the House.

The State of Arizona and other local governments are offering to pay to keep the Grand Canyon open during the federal shutdown. The canyon, obviously, is a major tourist attraction and is important to the local economy. The locals want to pay to keep it open so that their local economies don’t take a hit. But the Obama administration is rejecting the offer. “I offered to reopen the Grand Canyon to visitors by using state money, but federal officials declined my offer,” Arizona Governor Jan Brewer said in a Facebook post. “I really shouldn’t be surprised that the Obama Administration doesn’t want Arizona’s help.”

“I appreciate the support and I thanked them for the offer, but it’s not an offer we can accept,” said park superintendent Dave Uberuaga.

The Obama administration should have accepted the offer. What’s more, we should ask why paying to keep the Grand Canyon parks open to the public shouldn’t be Arizona’s responsibility.

Dust, as you remember a while back, I was BIG into us all getting gifts and I was working on that. But I easily get distracted by our Democrat Party talking points and it fell by the wayside. Maybe I could get a 'grant' to work on it? (that would be a great gift to me)

I would like to see a new poll...."Should furloughed workers be ALL sent back to work, since they will be getting paid?"
