what performance, this president has made things worst: the economy, jobs, foreign relations, the military, race relations, etc.

"Veritas, I think it's so important that it goes without saying."
You mean about Obama being African American?

"Impossible to say"
That's how I answered because I vote based on politics and beliefs. On the other hand, if we think that all people of a certain racial background will pursue the same policy objectives in the same manner, then yes, I suppose this daily poll question and its premise could be viewed as being even marginally legitimate.

At the time I voted, 16% said "Easier" and 44% said "Harder".
Take a moment to let that sink in. Think about that for a moment in light of my previous comment.

It hasn't made any difference to me what color the President's skin is. I don't approve of the job Obama is doing. If the next black candidate that runs has the same values and beliefs that I have, then I will vote for him/her.

Black or White, Female or Male it makes no differance to me. It's the job preformance and moving this great country forward. But the lack of little o's job preformance that will be in focus. Another setback in little o's health care...

The Obama administration has quietly delayed another major provision of the federal health care overhaul, pushing off until 2015 a mandatory cap on out-of-pocket costs for individuals.
The New York Times reported on Tuesday that the administration is giving some insurers a one-year grace period to adhere to the limit, which otherwise would have capped individual costs at $6,350 a year and gone into effect in 2014. The change means some insurers could set higher limits or set no limit at all on out-of-pocket costs during that period.

MDN's performance during the term of America's first Black President has been an utter disgrace.
The editors of this newspaper have revealed themselves to be little more than race-obsessed propaganda peddlers -- using their positions of power to incite cultural animosities and inflame racial hatred.
TODAY'S READER POLL QUESTION:
Did President Bush's performance make it easier or harder for another White to be elected president?
4 Agrees | 3 Disagrees | Report Abuse »
His performance on Fox News or the Minot Daily News would make it harder. His performance on MSNBC would make it easier.
So those who voted against him are less likely to vote for someone they perceive to be like him and those who voted for him more likely.
The great divide is widening as people choose to listen and read propaganda and call it news.

I doubt you would have come up with any of that had I not made the point first. You're not nearly as avant-garde as you think you are.

"The editors of this newspaper have revealed themselves to be little more than race-obsessed propaganda peddlers"
As opposed to you, who has become well-known for making regular use of phrases like "the first black president" and soforth. Yeah. Totally taking you seriously.
"...race-obsessed propaganda peddlers..."
Interesting phrase there, namexxx.
It describes to a T some others I could name.

I too said "impossible to say" Matt.
The question's phrasing makes you choose thusly:
We've had one African-American president. Will you choose another African-American for president based on what the first one has done?
It's silly. It's like asking people after George Washington was elected:
"Has President Washington's performance made it easier or harder for another former English subject to be elected president?"
If you want a duplicitous, hypocritical, not to smart of a nitwit for a president, then by all means vote for somebody like Obama.
If you want someone who is competent, vote for Alfred E. Newman.

"if we think that all people of a certain racial background will pursue the same policy objectives in the same manner"
Hardly a new premise Matt but subjectively right...
In the hatefull mindset,(bdgi),stereotypes exist thru political pandering in every venue technology has to offer...
Like some kind of mutated math...
"I answered because I vote based on politics and beliefs."
Seems like "Shouldn't make a difference" would have been a better fit!
I just like the word "impossible" used in a poll answer.

The lefty's are the only one's who look at this being all about color, but that ofcoarse comes from their constant consumption of pure garbage dished out by the liberal media. From the very beginning if anyone said anything negative about boy wonder, they were ofcoarse racists! And this has being the constant ever since. When you have no facts to backup your comments, then play the race card, and that trumps all!!

Doesn't the very question itself make this being all about color?
Are you reading the same article I'm reading?
You know the one titled:
"Has President Obama's performance made it easier or harder for another African American to be elected president?"
When you and the Grand wizards of the MDN have no facts to backup your comments, then play the race card, and that trumps all!!
Namexxx nailed it...."Did President Bush's performance make it easier or harder for another White to be elected president?"
Would you vote for another White guy after that train wreck?

The question is really asking "how long until the country elects a GOP president, after Bush/Cheney destroyed the economy in 8 years?"

House Republicans on Tuesday asked an IRS official at the center of their probe into the agency targeting Tea Party groups for documents related to her personal email account, after learning she allegedly used the account for official business.
The request from the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee to official Lois Lerner states she sent documents related to her official duties from her IRS email account to an account labeled ‘Lois Home.’
“This raises some serious questions,” wrote committee Chairman Darrell Issa, R-Calif. “To understand the extent to which you may have used a non-official email account for official purposes, … we request that you produce all documents and communications housed in your msn**** account.”
