  1. Never
  2. Doubtful
  3. Depends on the opponent
  4. His private life is of no issue

Anybody else would have been arrested for indecent exposure, but not a politician. Probably would receive a prison sentence for 5 years. America is reaching new lows in the world of politics.

Politicians should call it quits, such maggots they've become and a burden on society. Quite apparent they no longer represent the people, just all for themselves and those who pull their strings, the puppets they've become. Bread and Circus for the masses.

America is toast with idiots like Veenershcnitzel running the show.

As Jim Traficant always would say on the House floor, 'Beam me up'.

You pulled up an item from 2009? I didn't know that you could do searches from that far back on here.

For the record, I could never vote for A.W., but it's for reasons completely unrelated to his recent indiscretions.

He is proof that the liberals are nut cases...... Yes I know the conservatives have their issues also but the difference is the liberals condem everybody else for the same thing they did and then try to sweep their miss deeds under the rug.

After watching the nations voters continue to elect/re-elect individuals who have exhibited morally irresponsible behaviors for years on both sides, I still am amazed at the lack of intelligence of the voter. I applaud the wife of Sanford for her stand and am shocked at Ms Weiner for standing with her husband. The right considers this to be expected behavior of the liberal candidates, they ignore the fact that as the party of "family values", they have put people like David Vitter, Mark Sanford, and others in office. It also amazes me that their most vocal talk show people and ex-politicians have such colorful background. Rush-3 times divorced and drug problems, Newt- three times married with numerous extra marital affairs, Glenn Beck- alcoholism and divorces, O'Reilly-divorced, and numerous others with checkered backgrounds that fly in the face of the basic tenets of "family values". How politically astute are the voters when dealing with moral issues of cand

Mr. Weinder's issue isn't an isolated "oops, I screwed up once and apologize to the people and it will not happen again" situation. He will continue to do this because the guy has an addiction. He also has a wife who is an enabler. If the people of New York want this guy as their mayor? Good luck to them. They know what they will be getting as a mayor. A person's addiction has NOTHING to do with whether you are left or right, democrat or republican, christian or athiest, black or white...and addiction is an addiction.

I think it is interesting that the RNC chair came out to try to push a war against women by the personal actions of individuals. This is not quite the same as an entire political party attacking women time after time with "policies". The Republicans attacks on women's rights in policy changes and laws. Of course, Republicans certainly have the corner on attacking women's rights, minority rights, and middle and low income individuals supports.

"Of course" every liberal Democrat progressive intones.

Some of these comments are way too funny. Anthony Weiner should change his name and quit thinking that he is something women want. His wife and Hilary are best pals, maybe Hilary is giving her tips how to handle this problem.

Another paper's political cartoon-of-the-day was great....

The line at the bottom of the 'toon reads, with slight edits: "Now Anthony Weiner gets of"

One side has Weiner receiving a text and he's thinking, "In a jar on the mantel?"

The other side has a disgruntled Mrs. Weiner texting.

"And so say all of us"

"Has a female politician ever been busted sexting her junk?....NO!!!!!!"

Last time I checked, women aren't equipped with one of those things.

How about this? How about we vote for people based on their beliefs? For me, that's the disqualifying factor for A.W., not his recent...ahem
