While I have no problem with people owning a firearm if they wish, I do not approve of government making it a requirement. It sends the completely wrong message.
What is it with people? If something is such a great idea, is it really necessary to make it mandatory by force?

Jeasntel told on TV that she told trayvon to run cause George might be a gay rapist so instead he took matters into his own hands and started to beat on George so maybe george can file a hate crime lawsuit of his own...
George Zimmerman was found "not" guilty. Although this Federal Government of ours can't leave things alone, they are looking at filing Federal charges.

I've enjoyed the comments on this topic.
I agree with this sentiment...
"...the right given to us to own guns does not include the government mandating that every head of household own a gun."

I don't know what difference it makes. A person can hardly find certain ammunition for some guns.

animal, the old saying 'don't throw the baby out with the wash' is a good axiom. There are several representatives and a couple of senators who fight the need for all those laws. We need to keep them. But, yes, we don't need everything regulated.

I like Socialismsuck's remarks. That being said, the right given to us to own guns does not include the government mandating that every head of household own a gun. We are free to protect ourselves from government mandates such as this.

too many guns are in the hands of criminals so i think i'll keep mine. i'm sure all the bad guys (and most libs) in GA are against this law. some of their supporters might get hurt while out re-distributing someone else's wealth with a law like this.
