Troops have been at Gitmo for a long time and WAY prior to the prison being opened. So your point of bring the troops home is invalid Mark.

Somebody needs to read the question completely!! The question is whether or not to close the "Prison" at Guantanamo, not close the entire base. There are a couple of Federal prisons in the US that are vacant that can be used for the terrorists, so put them there, but leave the troops at Guantanamo and keep the naval base open.
