Sounds like another big scandal coming down the pipe in regards to Dolan hiding around $56 in funds, to avoid payouts for the sexual abuse victims....not to mention the ultra secret vatican bank issue....sainthood must be the equivalent to the hall of fame huh?

As more victims of clergy sex abuse came forward, then-Milwaukee Archbishop Timothy Dolan oversaw a plan to pay some abusers to leave the priesthood after writing to Vatican officials with increasing frustration and concern, warning them about the potential for scandal if they did not defrock problem priests, Victims and their attorneys accused Dolan of bankruptcy fraud, pointing to a June 2007 letter in which he told a Vatican office that moving the money into a trust would provide "an improved protection of these funds from any legal claim and liability.

It's a "miracle" that some people still believe this nonsense....

Since we're on topic, here's a comparison. If there was a daycare which had a single occurence of these horrible acts against kids, people would likely not take their kids there ever again. This abuse was widely known within this "organization" and top officials covered it up. But since its a "church" that's somehow acceptable? People are amazingly stupid.
