No. If someone is charged with the awesome responsibility of launching a weapon or in this case multiple weapons than can kill millions of people, the discipline required is to the highest standards. If these individual don't possess the discipline to pass a inspection can they be relied on to carry out an actual launch command.

It's not as though Minuteman III crews or the ICBM wing of the triad are specifically being particularly singled out - the other two units in Montana and Wyoming rated quite well.

Since they got a rating of "D" on their inspection, how many higher ranking officers were told that their services were no longer needed in their current position and will be reassigned by the USAF? I think that some of the senior officers should be sent to Thule AB, Greenland!

Just a small question on this issue. Was not the evaluation of personnel conducted by the Air Force and not the Anti-nuclear groups. So, the air force gave them a "D" which probably was a gift. Now, do you want the brain surgeon who will operate on you to have received a D in his college brain surgery class. This is a big deal or do we want to send some nucs to Louisiana again.
Actually I have seen Boy Scouts that have a much higher level of maturity than a lot of junior officers in the military.
