Uh, willgrr (and Veritas, by virtue of his chiming in, which doesn't bother me) I didn't ask you to cite your source. I reminded you that you didn't cite it, then cited it for you. Yeah, I can do heavy lifting when I want to.
As far as demanding things from others, you're doing more than enough cleanup on everybody who posts, plus you seem to enjoy it. Why would I spoil your fun and/or purpose?

All those weapons these bombers had. I wonder if a simple back ground check would have stopped them?

loco, there you go again , only asking "leftists" to cite sources. Until you stop cheer leading for the Obama underwear loving donnamay, whom you NEVER have asked to cite anything, don't hold your breath.
willgrr, you forgot to cite your source.

The article does mention Eric Williams having guns, but I just didn't see any reference to "Tea Party" at all.
Did it go poof after you "read" it, willgrr? Or was it just wishful thinking on your part?
Your left shoe seems a bit sloppy today. Pull yourself up by those laces, will you?
willgrr, if the left shoe fits, put it on. The right shoe is there for debate.
"I just don't understand how somebody in a white-collar case who received probation decides to throw away his own life with the senseless murder of people who were simply doing their jobs"
These 2, armed to the teeth, Tea Party members were upset that they lost their healthcare benefits because he was found guilty of stealing three computer monitors from an office building last year.
A former Texas justice of the peace seeking revenge for a theft conviction that ended his judicial career carried out a plot with his wife to kill the men who prosecuted him, authorities said Thursday.
Eric Lyle Williams, and his wife, Kim Williams, are charged with capital murder in the slayings of Kaufman County District Attorney Mike McLelland, his wife, Cynthia, and assistant prosecutor Mark Hasse.
I thought Gov. Rick Perry these were Mexican drug lords?
Leftists? Is that what we are now?

"...90% of the total population (approximately) wanted gun background checks..."
Two posters told me this figure was from a poll conducted by Quinnipiac University in Hamden CT on Jan. 31, 2013. This is the poll that Pres. Obama cited, according to Quinnipiac's website.
quinnipiac . edu/institutes--centers/polling-institute/new-jersey/release-detail?ReleaseID=1842
The three states polled were Virginia, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. So only residents in these three states matter? Is this the only poll taken on the issue? You mean national legislation is to be determined by a poll of three states' residents?
Statistics like these almost seem made to order.
So the Constitution applies only when leftists want it to?
Yeah, that explains a whole lot.
The poll being cited on here was taken in three states and that is not a majority of anything.

We are the only country where majority of votes does not win? Our political system as well as our constitution needs an update!

7.5 million voted for Diane Feinstein Calif.
116.000 thousand voted for Heidi and Hoeven.
Think about it.

My, my, loco, is on the trail of righteousness again. The trail of money poured forth from the NRA and other gun organizations including a half million dollars the day of the vote to the Senators. Say, did you know that 42 of the 45 senators who voted no, received money from the NRA< the sierra club, gun organizations and guess what else--- gun manufacturers. Now about the majority rule thing according to the population. Now, 90% of the total population (approximately) wanted gun background checks... But, the bill was voted down with over half the votes (25) coming from the states with the smallest populations. So much for majority rules and doing what is best for the country. As to Baucus and Heidi, well they ran scared of the right wing minority.
Diog...I didn't hit the disagree but you crack me up! Get in the pressroom with your logic and raise your hand...I'll make sure you get the time you need...

Well, again, you're right that 680,000 divided by 330,000,000 is 0.00206..., but that's not a percentage. You need to multiply that figure by 100. For example, 35 is 7 percent of 500, but 35/500 = 0.07. Do you see what I mean?

You are technically correct Diog...I got the figure from the internet calculator which we all know doesn't lie...But for all the math junkies out there, what is 680,000 diveded by 330,000,000? It's pathetic not nominal which is to say;
b : of, being, or relating to a designated or theoretical size that may vary from the actual
Care to explain how yours is bigger than mine loco?

Veritas, are you in the running for homecoming royalty or something? Why the worry about buttons or lack thereof? Truth...
2 Agrees | 3 Disagrees | Report Abuse »
I agree. Veritas' point is nominal.
Actually V, it'd be more like 0.2228(etc)%. You've got to nudge the decimal over two places for it to become a percentage.
Still though, nominal sort of figure.
