"ND could very well be the new microcosm of society where fear, prejudice and denial are perpetuated from outside sources telling us what to think and what to do."

Brilliant comment!

It's not the taxes paying for "foods stamps and cell phones" that's killing us. All food aid to poor families combined amounts to less than 3% of our total budget.

This nation is going broke due to the HUNDREDS of BILLIONS of dollars spent yearly on the F-35 fighters, the DDG 51s, the Destroyers and the digital drones of death.

Unlike food for poor people, most of what the military buys -- will never be used.

It's gotten so bad, many in the Department of Defense itself are now complaining of the extreme bloat and waste.

Even a cursory glance at the budget proves that feeding hungry families is NOT the problem.

How about creating a "control your hormones" pill or a "be accountable for your actions" pill or "aren't you grateful the morning after pill wasn't around during the time you were born" pill. In the human family, intercourse between a man and a woman is the method given to reproduce our kind. It is creating life. God gave us this power. He commanded us not to not misuse it or take it lightly or to kill or take life. He gave us our lives. We do not have the authority or right to take any life, at any point in time. One may wish to escape responsibility for their actions now but we will all be held accountable. Life is precious. Yet, today life is trivialized by attitudes and things like violent video games and abortion. Yes, live and let live. There are so many who want children who cannot have their own. People go to other countries to adopt. It make no sense. Be responsible and respect all life. The morning after pill is a very terrible thing.

Do I need help paying for my kids college, sure do because I get overtaxed to pay for foods stamps and cell phones for those that REFUSE to work. By the way namexx, welcome to the Republican side.

Why should I pay for your kids to go to college?

Are you out of your mind?

They're YOUR kids. YOU pay for them. Can't afford it? TOO BAD. You should've thought of that before you had the little darlings.

You people have completely lost your mother-lovin' minds.

One more step to take away my parenting. Is it great to have available, maybe but I have now lost control of that issue as well. If "society" is going to raise my kids, can I get some help with their college? Just saying that teh parents should be included in the situation for minors.

If you plan to have sex and then plan to destroy any possibility of a fertilized egg, a pro-life advocate may construe the action as pre-meditated prevention of potential life, defying an act of God, and is therefore a question of morality.

Is it moral to have sex and then immediately destroy what can become an infant child? Is it a pre-meditated act to destroy a potential life, and might possibly be a crime, a crime against humanity? To have sex and then intentionally destroy a fertilized egg could be viewed as an act of violence, not sex.

The judge involved might possibly be guilty of allowing crimes against humanity.

I guess there is no stopping point in a throwaway society such as we've created.

At least we're free to think, I think.

This will just make kids more promiscuous than ever. Two little thoughts come to mind, since when are girls under 18 women (if so let them vote) and we will definitely be able to conduct a lengthy study on the short and long term effects of the Plan B pill. I wish you all well both born and unborn alike.
